Chiang Mai Highlights: San Kampaeng Hot Springs

Part of our time constraint in Bo Sang was due to ensuring we'd make our final destination that day - San Kampaeng Hot Springs. The springs are further east of Bo Sang in a surprisingly beautiful setting...

We arrived just as the sun was setting behind the mountains - enough time to snap a few photos, boil some eggs (one of the pools is actually hot enough!) and soak our weary legs...

It's a great place for a picnic and the perfect way to relax after a long day. You can pick up food and drinks on your way or at any of the vendors just outside the entrance. There are camping facilities too if you have the time and fancy spending the night.

I don't recommend going on a public holiday, though. We went again later in the week and it was a nightmare!
