Chiang Mai Highlights: Bo Sang

One of the other handicraft villages I stopped at on my recent trip to Chiang Mai was Bo Sang - an umbrella-making village east of Chiang Mai city. Because we were a little short on time (and otherwise distracted by paper) we actually only stopped at one place in the village, so what I have to show you is fairly limited. The place we stopped at felt a little commercial, but we were lucky to come on a day when not many people were there and it does give you a really good insight into the umbrella-making craft...

I definitely left feeling like I'd love to explore the area a little more, so hopefully I'll get to go back soon!
